- CPU and RAM: Shared hosting customers are expected to use processing power in a manner that does not disrupt server operations. Prolonged high CPU/memory usage may result in throttling or account review.
- Storage: Web hosting accounts must not be used for file storage, backups, or media repositories unrelated to website content.
- Email: Outbound email should be within 500 emails per hour per domain unless otherwise approved. Mass emailing for spamming or bulk marketing is strictly prohibited.
- Processes and Scripts: Cron jobs should not run at intervals less than 15 minutes. Persistent scripts or poorly optimized applications may be suspended pending review.
4. Responsibilities of the Customer
- Monitor your website and application behavior to avoid excessive use of resources.
- Use caching, CDN, and optimization tools where possible to reduce server load.
- Avoid activities that violate our Acceptable Use Policy or disrupt server stability.
- Respond promptly to notifications from our support team regarding resource overuse.
5. Our Responsibilities
- Monitor resource usage across all accounts to ensure fair performance for every customer.
- Notify customers promptly if usage exceeds fair limits.
- Offer guidance on optimizing sites or suggest appropriate upgrades if usage consistently exceeds plan allowances.
- Ensure all actions taken under this policy are reasonable and non-discriminatory.
6. Enforcement and Remediation
- We reserve the right to temporarily suspend or limit services if a customer’s usage jeopardizes server health or other clients.
- In cases of repeated violations, we may recommend plan upgrades or, in rare cases, terminate services with prior notice.
- We offer technical assistance to help customers comply with fair usage expectations.
7. Exceptions
Dedicated servers, managed cloud environments, or enterprise-grade solutions may be exempt from some parts of this policy. Clients should refer to their specific contract or SLA for applicable terms.
8. Disclaimers
- Unlimited resources are governed by physical server capacity and are intended for average business website operations, not abuse or exploitation.
- We are not responsible for performance degradation or downtime due to excessive resource usage by other users if the client is on a shared server.
- Fair Usage terms are designed to protect the overall infrastructure and all clients relying on it.
