Account Suspension & Termination Policy

This policy outlines the conditions under which mediabirdco.net may suspend or terminate customer accounts. The purpose is to maintain the integrity, security, and performance of our web hosting infrastructure and to enforce compliance with our service terms.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all customers using hosting, domain, cloud, email, or any other service provided by mediabirdco.net
3. Grounds for Account Suspension
Accounts may be suspended without prior notice for the following reasons:
- Violation of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
- Non-payment or overdue invoices exceeding the due grace period
- Excessive resource usage (CPU, RAM, bandwidth) impacting server performance
- Hosting or distributing malicious content (malware, phishing sites, etc.)
- Spamming, bulk emailing, or blackhat marketing practices
- Unauthorized access, hacking attempts, or DDoS activity
4. Suspension Procedures
When an account is suspended:
- The customer will be notified via registered email and/or through the client portal.
- All website and associated services (email, FTP, etc.) will be temporarily disabled.
- The customer will be required to take corrective actions within a specified timeframe.
- Services may be reinstated upon resolution of the violation or full payment.
5. Grounds for Termination
Accounts may be terminated permanently under the following conditions:
- Repeated or severe violations of our terms, policies, or applicable laws
- Failure to resolve issues during a suspension period
- Request by customer for account closure
- Fraudulent activity or identity falsification
- 30 days of non-payment following account suspension
6. Termination Procedures
- All data including websites, files, databases, and email accounts will be permanently deleted after termination.
- No backups will be retained beyond the termination date unless otherwise stated in your hosting plan.
- Customers will receive a final notification before termination.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with all applicable hosting policies and legal regulations.
- Ensure timely payment for all active services.
- Regularly back up website data independently unless included in a managed service plan.
- Respond promptly to policy violation notices or abuse reports.
8. Company Responsibilities
- Provide reasonable notice of suspension or termination, except in cases of emergency or severe abuse.
- Offer assistance in restoring service after a valid suspension where applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of account data during the suspension period.
9. Disclaimers
mediabirdco.net reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion if deemed necessary to protect server integrity, comply with legal obligations, or prevent service disruption to other customers.
We are not liable for data loss resulting from account suspension or termination due to customer violations or failure to act on warnings and notices.
