This policy applies to all customers who have purchased web hosting services, domain names, SSL certificates, or other related products from mediabirdco.net that are eligible for automatic renewal.

3. Auto-Renewal Terms

  • By default, all eligible services are set to auto-renew prior to the expiration date to avoid disruption.
  • The renewal period will match the original service term (e.g., monthly, annually) unless changed in the customer portal.
  • The renewal charge will be billed to the payment method on file approximately 5 to 15 days prior to service expiration.
  • Pricing for renewal may differ from the original purchase price and will be based on current rates at the time of renewal.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for maintaining valid and up-to-date payment information in their account.
  • Clients who wish to cancel the auto-renewal must disable it via the customer portal at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Clients will receive email notifications prior to auto-renewal, including billing reminders and service expiration alerts.

5. Opt-Out and Cancellation

  • Auto-renewal can be managed at any time through the client dashboard under Billing or Service Settings.
  • Disabling auto-renewal will not cancel the current service term but will prevent automatic renewal at the end of the billing cycle.
  • Clients must manually renew services before expiration if auto-renew is disabled to avoid service interruption or termination.

6. Failed Payments

  • If the payment for the renewal fails, the system will retry the transaction up to three times over a 7-day grace period.
  • After unsuccessful attempts, the service may be suspended and/or terminated without further notice.
  • To restore suspended services, full payment must be made along with any applicable restoration fees.
